It’s another Monday here at Lia’s Bookish Obsession, and I’m participating in Bookmark Monday hosted by Guiltless Reading. A few days ago, I was cleaning out my bookmarks when I notice this beauty. Honestly, how did I not notice that I had this bookmark this entire time? I need this bookmark with the paperback edition of Strong Signal, together. Actually what I really need is a honey badger! Yep I declare this Monday Strong Signal Shopping Day!
I’m getting this Honey Badger!
If you haven’t read Strong Signal by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell, here is what you need to know. It’s an amazing contemporary LGBTQIA: M&M Romances that’s just as comical as it is romantic. I wrote an entire fangirl post about it a few months ago when Cyberlove 2 was launched! Feel free to check it out! But more importantly I’m just really happy that I found this bookmark! Now I can buy the the paperback edition of Strong Signal, and make it my special bookmark for when I re-read Strong Signal. I really love that book! I really do guys. I know it’s Monday but I really hope you have an amazing day. However if you’re not having an amazing day then take some life lessons for this Honey Badger, ’cause he don’t care!
Today is Bookmark Monday hosted by Guiltless Reading. Today is a day that we take a moment to appreciate our bookmarks, better known as “quitter strips”. That’s right, the stripes of paper, or metal, that you use to sign off of your reading, when you have no other choice but to get back to reality! Yuck! None the else, I’m sharing with you some of my favorites, if not strangest bookmarks I currently own.
Today’s bookmark is . . .
That’s rights, it’s none other than Dumplin’ Go Big, or Go Home by Julie Murphy. I love this book. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, they you already heard my fan girl story about crying on Julie Murphy through my blog and my podcast with Sarah Wendell on SBTB website. So it shouldn’t be a big surprise that I even managed to grab a bookmark dedicated for my re-reading of Dumplin’. Honestly, if I could ever find a Dolly Parton bookmarked, it would only be used for my re-reading of Dumplin’, too!
Have a great Monday!
