Fallowing the theme of Brujas and Witches is the final installment of the amazing Worldwalker Trilogy by Josephine Angelini. I really enjoyed this series. I enjoyed it so much I even have a necklace made from the same seller who created the WorldWalker necklace that Josephine Angelini was giving away. The differences between my necklace and the book series necklace, is the fact that my necklace stones are coordinated to the stones of my love ones. That’s how much I A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y love this series.

“This is the final book in the Worldwalker Trilogy! Thrust once again into a society different from anything they have ever seen, Lily and her coven are determined to find answers―to find a new path to victory, a way to defeat the monstrous Woven without resorting to nuclear weapons or becoming a tyrannical mass murderer like her alternate self, Lillian.

You might have noticed the theme of magical females in this weeks Waiting on Wednesday. Fallowing that theme is the second book of Rae Carson’s Gold Seer Trilogy.

Waiting On Wednesday

As always Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly book meme in which bloggers tell you lovely readers what books they are extremely excited to read. Think of “Waiting on Wednesday” is a “CAN’T-WAIT-TO-READ” book themed post!

27969081

First up is a book that is not going to be on Waiting on Wednesday post for much longer since it’s publication date approaching very quickly! I am so excited for this book that I’ve been drawing fan art while in anticipating other bloggers, readers, reviews, and paranormal fan readers waiting to read this book as well. Of course you know I am talking about Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Còrdova! If you haven’t read this ARC yet, then you’re in a for a great paranormal witchcraft series! It’s got dead relatives, family values, romance of the NON-TRIANGLE-TYPE and of course diversity in all corners of the page! It’s just an amazing book, with an amazing message behind it! Don’t forget to preorder, Labyrinth Lost, it’s release date is September 6th 2016!

Being released on the very same day is the much awaited Empire of Storms, book 5 of the  Throne of Glass series. This is book 5 and already Goodreads has a listing for Book 6! I’m not sure if I’m excited, numb, or if my heart is in some type of hyper sleep. The entire Sarah J. Maas fandom lost it’s mind when she released the second installment of her A Court of Rose and Thorn series with  A Court of Mist and Fury. Honest Chapter 50 and Chapter 55, that’s all I am going to say. That series alone cause the internet to break! What on earth is Sarah J. Maas going to do with all the ships! The entire Maasfandom will find out September 6th 2016!

Fallowing the witch theme is my favorite little witchcraft town of Blu Harbor, is the amazing Crystal Sellers,  Fire Within Me 2 from the Blue Harbor Series!  This series is amazing. The first novel stole my heart away! Honestly you have to be careful when you read a Crystal Sellers novel! One minute you’re just relaxing trying to read a romantic novel, then all of sudden you’re trying to Google if there is such a town that Seller describes in her novel. I love Fire Within Me 2 ! It’s an honest mystery what is going to happen to these cursed family of witches, but I have faith that Sellers is going to make our reading journey INCREDIBLE! Until then I am going to be re-read  Fire Within Me until I can get a hold of Fire Within Me 2! Until the second book is release I’ll have to paint some fan art to release this antic…pation!

I have been buttering up author K.M.Montemayor, because she left my heart on such a cliff hanger! How dare you K.M.Montemayor! How dare you take my heart and break it, then pick up the pieces to only mend them SLOWLY together with this second installment to the The Spirit Chaser series! I can’t wait! I just can’t yet I must! Similar to Crystal Sellers, I have no idea what the next book is going to be called, or what it’s going to be about! I just know that I am going to be sticking to the authors like honey on a comb. YOU SHALL NOT HAVE REST UNTIL I KNOW WHAT’S NEXT!  To this I swear on my bookish heart!

You guys ALREADY KNOW I love the world that Leigh Bardugo has created for us! I am obsess with her world building, her characters, the way she describes the very gore of the situations. I mean seriously, lets take a moment to appreciate the descriptive way she creates character that you have no choice but to fall in love with. If it weren’t for Leigh Bardugo’s Darkling character, I don’t think heart would have fallen so deeply in love with Sarah J. Maas’s Rhysand from ACOTAR series! This book won’t be Waiting on Wednesday list for long since it’s being published September 27th 2016! If you are like me, meaning you live in the middle of a  NON FUN ZONE of America, then you’re in luck. The amazing women at GoodChoiceReading are having a virtual signing of Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo! So go and check it out!

Waiting On Wednesday

Hello Friends, Family, and Fellow Book Readers

Today is Wednesday! I love Wednesday! Honesty my week STARTS on Wednesday and ends of Saturday! All other days are lies! But let us focus on the Books that I am waiting for on this wonderful Waiting on Wednesday! Today is going to be a short list because I feel that if I go any longer  Waiting on Wednesday post is going to turn into a WHY PAY DAY SO FAR AWAY post.  So let’s begin with a book that is not going to be on this list within 4 weeks. That’s right, you heard me talk about it before but I can’t help it! It’s the wonderful story of  . . .

Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Còrdova

Goodreads Blurb
“”Enchanting and complex. Every page is filled with magic.”-Danielle Paige, New York Times best-selling author of Dorothy Must Die

Nothing says Happy Birthday like summoning the spirits of your dead relatives.

Alex is a bruja, the most powerful witch in a generation…and she hates magic. At her Deathday celebration, Alex performs a spell to rid herself of her power. But it backfires. Her whole family vanishes into thin air, leaving her alone with Nova, a brujo boy she can’t trust. A boy whose intentions are as dark as the strange marks on his skin.

Up Next is . .

Iron Cast by Destiny Soria

Goodreads Blurb
“It’s Boston, 1919, and the Cast Iron club is packed. On stage, hemopaths—whose “afflicted” blood gives them the ability to create illusions through art—captivate their audience. Corinne and Ada have been best friends ever since infamous gangster Johnny Dervish recruited them into his circle. By night they perform for Johnny’s crowds, and by day they con Boston’s elite. When a job goes wrong and Ada is imprisoned, they realize how precarious their position is. After she escapes, two of the Cast Iron’s hires are shot, and Johnny disappears. With the law closing in, Corinne and Ada are forced to hunt for answers, even as betrayal faces them at every turn.”

Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco

Goodreads Blurb
“When Tea accidentally resurrects her brother from the dead, she learns she is different from the other witches in her family. Her gift for necromancy means that she’s a bone witch, a title that makes her feared and ostracized by her community. But Tea finds solace and guidance with an older, wiser bone witch, who takes Tea and her brother to another land for training.

In her new home, Tea puts all her energy into becoming an asha — one who can wield elemental magic. But dark forces are approaching quickly, and in the face of danger, Tea will have to overcome her obstacles…and make a powerful choice.”

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

Goodread Blurb
“Seventeen-year-old Audrey Rose Wadsworth was born a lord’s daughter, with a life of wealth and privilege stretched out before her. But between the social teas and silk dress fittings, she leads a forbidden secret life.

Against her stern father’s wishes and society’s expectations, Audrey often slips away to her uncle’s laboratory to study the gruesome practice of forensic medicine. When her work on a string of savagely killed corpses drags Audrey into the investigation of a serial murderer, her search for answers brings her close to her own sheltered world.”

Another book that I desperately need is . . .
The Fate of the Tearling (Queen of the Tearling #3) by Erika Johansen
I need to re-read the series before the third and finally book comes out so I can give you the best review for this series as I can. Just believe me when I say, it’s the best Queen-style book that showcases a strong female character instead of the traditional subservient female character.

Goodreads Blurb

The thrilling conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Tearling trilogy.

In less than a year, Kelsea Glynn has transformed from a gawky teenager into a powerful monarch. As she has come into her own as the Queen of the Tearling, the headstrong, visionary leader has also transformed her realm. In her quest to end corruption and restore justice, she has made many enemies—including the evil Red Queen, her fiercest rival, who has set her armies against the Tear.

To protect her people from a devastating invasion, Kelsea did the unthinkable—she gave herself and her magical sapphires to her enemy—and named the Mace, the trusted head of her personal guards, Regent in her place. But the Mace will not rest until he and his men rescue their sovereign, imprisoned in Mortmesne.

Now, as the suspenseful endgame begins, the fate of Queen Kelsea—and the Tearling itself—will finally be revealed.

And last but certainly not least  is
Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass #5) by Sarah J. Maas

This book needs no Blurb!
I’m not sure who isn’t waiting for this book. I have ALL THE BOOKS! I mean ALL THE BOOKS! I’ve made friends on Goodreads by connecting with Maas fans on fan page forms! I’ve even disowned my physical friends who refuse to read the series from some strange, ignorant reason, that’s right I’m talking about you Latoya. Our friend is on OFFICIAL STAND OFF until you at least, and I do mean AT LEAST finish reading 1 Rainbow Rowell novel, and 1 Sarah J. Maas novel. Which honestly isn’t hard since the woman only has two physical series available for book store purchase! But, enough about that, let’s talk about this wonderful book. It’s the last book of the  Throne of Glass series (maybe), and it will finally put all our shipping hearts to rest once Maas finally makes a worth intimate scene for my favorite couple as she did for Chapter 55 on ACOMAF!

Well that’s all folks!
Happy Reading!

~Lia
