Good Monday to you all! I’m sure we all are super excited to go back to work? Right! Right! Exactly! No one is ever excited to go to work, especially on a Monday! That’s like saying you’re extremely excited to see you’re dentist, when you damn well know you have a painful root canal is awaiting you the moment you sit in that leather recline dentist chair!

Well I’m here to make you’re Monday less painful! This first “ Not Safe For Work Review” is dedicated to Crystal Sellers,t he author of the Blu Harbor series. I recently reviewed her latest installment of the witchy small town of Blu Harbor, where my only negative critic was her lack of deep penetrating details when the characters ever got went near S.E.X. It was then that she revealed her adorably bashful she is, especially when she has her mother as an editor.

1. That’s adorable that she’s so bashful about writing romantic scenes with her own characters. How can you get anymore adorable!

2. Awww, she did it again! If being bashful about writing about you’re own characters romance or sexual scene makes you blush, I can’t imagine having you’re mother reviewing you’re books might feel! Just when I though  Crystal Sellers and her publicist Pecan Summers couldn’t get any cuter, they just blew the top right off my Cutie meter.

To save her, he must ruin her.
Lord Sebastian St. John, dedicated bachelor and a co-owner of Fallen, the most scandalous pleasure club in London, is known as Sin for good reason. Orphaned by a shocking accident, Sin long ago vowed a life of solitude anddecadence. Yet when Lady Grace Carrington begs for his help destroying her reputation, Sin can't turn the ton's most proper lady away.
Obedient daughter, wife, and young widow, Grace has had enough of being controlled. After her father arranges a second loveless marriage to an eminently respectable ancient, Grace plans a fortnight of defiance and self-ruination to stop the wedding. But as Grace enters the heady, risky world of an affair with Sin, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him— and she soon realizes two weeks won't be nearly enough.

That’s why I decided to create this Monday Theme of NSFWBR, Not Safe For Work Book Review, books posted under this theme are books decided to make both Crystal Sellers and Pecan Summers blush. Better yet I’m attempting to make anyone blush, especially my own mother! So let this devious post continue!

For today’s first post I’m going to be reviewing the entire Fallen Series by Nicola Davidson! The first book in the Fallen Series is Surrender to Sin!

Surrender to Sin is of course the first book in the Fallen Series, and the story surrounds Lord Sebastian St. John also known as SIN, and his romantic interest Lady Grace of Carrington.

This short novella is only 107 pages of pure erotic bliss. Grace Carrington was actually married to a much older man through her father’s matchmaking skills. Lucky would have it that her mature husband would die living her a five year widow.

After completeing marriage duty and finding her freedom through a natural death, she thought she found peace knowing that her father would not attempt to marry her off  again, but she’s so very wrong.

Once again, her father tries his hands at matchmaking to the horror of Grace Carrington. This arrangement is much worse since this new husband has a history of finding pleasure in torturing women. In this historical erotica, Grace finds the only true way to free herself from this marriage arrangement is to ruin herself, oh and does she ever!

” Grace bucked, her cry of pleasure echoing in the room, her inner muscles dancing along the length of his cock and making him groan. Faster she bore down and harder he thrust upward while finger-fucking her ass, his other hand reaching up to wind her loose blond curls around it and tug, arching her farther so he could suck her nipples as well.”

Grace meets Sin, who runs a very successful Gentlmen’s Club and has a bad history. Sin of course agrees to help her because he has had history with this particular character. This is why he not only agrees to help ruin her but help explore her sexual desires in the process. This book is sexual hot, I mean really nasty. There are so many sexual steamy sex in this book that it made my toes cruel.

Not Safe For Work Book ReviewThe Devil's Submission (Fallen, #2) by Nicola Davidson

three-half-stars

Disinherited by his parents and estranged from his wife, Fallen pleasure club co-owner Lord Grayson ‘Devil’ Deveraux long ago learned to place his trust in ledgers rather than people. But his ice-cold reserve hides the scandalous truth: he’s a man who craves pain with his pleasure, and a loving lady to instruct him.
Banished to the country when her whirlwind marriage collapsed, Lady Eliza Deveraux never knew why Grayson fell out of love with her: she’d tried so damned hard to quell her fiery self and be a proper, obedient wife. But when Eliza is forced to return to London and back into Grayson’s intoxicating world, banked passions reignite. Can a marriage built on secrets and pretense truly get a second chance?

The Devil’s Submission by Nicola Davidson is the second installment of the steamy Fallen Series. This naughty book is prefect for when you want to read something that makes you heart race while reading between the sheets. Yes, I know we’re all adults but sometimes old habits of reading between the sheets are just to hard to break. I love this book so much because its so nasty, in a good erotica type of way.

Eliza and Dev are the main characters of his second book of the Fallen Series. This novella is only about 85 pages long of pure bliss. Devil and Eliza came into their marriage pretending to be something they truly wasn’t not due to the historical society pressure. Lord Grayson nicknamed Devil, is one of the three owners of the the Gentlemen’s Club. Eliza is a strong women who is having a hard time demure, quite submissive life of marriage.

“Nodding in approval, Eliza reached out and trailed the end of the cane along his skin. Slowly, gently, up and down, around in a circle, teasing his hair-roughed thighs and forearms, his smooth, muscled back. Without warning she struck, one quick, sharp blow across the back of his thigh.

He gasped. “Yes”

Again and again she stroked him with  the cane then hit, varying the spot his shoulder, forearm, thighs with pale pink marks, never settling into a rhythm or pace, keeping him on the edge but not touching him where he wanted it most.”

Devil who is a three way owner of the local pleasure house named Fallen has a few secrets about himself that he isn’t comfortable expressing with Eliza. He hides he’s sexual needs from his wife, which is he enjoys a dominated sex life. I know the shocking truth has been revealed, Devil is submissive sex slave. Grab you’re wipes, polish you’re chains, and tighten those leather straps because Dev and Eliza sex life gets rugged, steamy and quite erotic.

Out of the entire Fallen Series I find this novella to be the best, I only wish this novella was much longer. What I love the most about this book is the fact that it’s two consenting adults finding what what’s no only for their own marriage but themselves, We need more books like this…for sciences of course!

The Seductive of Viscount Vice by Nicola Davidson, is the last installment of he Fallen Series.

The Fallen is a pleasure club that has three owners Sin, Devil and Vice, of course each owner have already had their own installment in the Fallen series expect for Vice.

Vice sometimes called Iain, which is just the Gaelic name for John, by his love interest Mairi likes to call him. Vice was 17 years old when Mairi was 19 years old, then their romance got to steamy  Mairi’s father told Iain that she had died while crossing  to get to France with her true love interest Ramsey the butler.

Now fast forward ten years later Vice is owner of the Fallen and is shocked. I mean SHOCKED! To find under his employment Mairi, whose in fact NOT DEAD! I can’t go into much details because it would give away the true plot twist of this erotica but trust me this books is going to give you so much needed tips and trips the next time you have you’re love in ben with you!

This novella is not my favorite out of the series but it earns the highest rating of 5/5 due to the characters, the romance, and the nasty sexiness of the romance!

About Nicola Davidson

New Zealander Nicola Davidson always adored words, romance and history, so writing historical romance was a logical career progression…er, eventually. After completing a communications degree and journalism diploma she left to teach English in Taiwan and travel through Asia before returning home to work in television. Jobs in tertiary education, local government communications and print media followed, but the lords and ladies in her head wouldn’t hold their peace a moment longer and so began the years of professional daydreaming. When not chained to a computer writing wickedly sexy, witty and twisty turny stories, Nicola can be found ambling along a beach, cheering on the champion All Blacks rugby team or driving her nearest and dearest batty with her history geekisms, chocolate hoarding and complete lack of domestic skills.
