Madrid, Spain

♥ ♥♥Jessica Peterson contacted me in exchange for an honest review. ♥♥

The Review

Spanish Lesson is most adorable New Adult novel I have read in a long time , it’s also the first installment to Jessica Peterson’s New Adult series, Study Abroad . It’s absolutely ♥ADORABLE♥,  and just enjoyable read. Spanish Lesson is actually my first novel from the author Jessica Peterson, and I’m so happy to have been introduced to her style of writing when I did. I’m going to be honest with you. I tried my hardest to delay finishing this book. I loved it so much I just didn’t want  it to end. I love the entire concept of finding you romantic connection while studying aboard. What can I say! I’m a sucker for old Hollywood movies, this book reminded of a 1954  romantic comedy of movie Three Coins in the Fountain. Spanish Lesson inspired me so much while reading, that I finally went back to learning Spanish . . . unfortunately my Rosetta Stone lessons don’t include any swoon worthy hot guys to help tutoring me!

Characters
♥Vivian, bless-her-heart, was trying to be a good best friend in her attempts of keeping everyone happy instead it was only making herself EXTREMELY unhappy. Vivian’s mental debate over her decisions truly made me go crazy. I never known anyone to actually put their feelings over another ones especially when happiness is afoot.  This is also why I though her reasons for not automatically beginning a relationship with Rafa were completely silly. I understand she wants to be a good friend to Maddie, but Maddie needs a therapist, not a hook up. Maddie should  not have gone aboard if she was going to have an emotional breakdown about her parents every night. I would have like Vivian to have spent more time with her other classmates because Maddie . . .  Maddie is a selfish unhappy spoiled brat if she thinks any friendship is going to stand in the middle of love. Such I had a similar situation during my college years. My best friend didn’t like my boyfriend at the time. She gave me a choice between her and him, obviously I chose him, the funny thing is we are still best friend except . . .  I’m married with that said boyfriend. I have faith that Maddie & Vivian relationship would survive, plus I was right since the second book is Maddie’s story.

♥ Oh sweet heaven Rafa, I need to know who inspired Rafa because I need those types of Spanish Lessons. I think my Spanish is worse that Vivian . . . so I’ll need late night lessons too *wink* Rafa is just loving, romantic and passionate how can you not just love him. Gosh I need to move from North Dakota and go to Spain, for educational purposes of course!

Overall I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars.
Spanish Lesson is available on Amazon!
(psst it’s FREE!)
I truly hope you read it because it’s wonderful heart warming romance, which keep my heart as well as my mind active. It will surely keep you on you’re toes. It is realistic and easy to identify with you’re on love story. The characters are swoon worthy, intelligent, caring and sexy. No matter what type of romance novels you read this is surely a book you will enjoy, I just love it. I feel that this book could also be considered as coming to age since Vivian matured through her character development since being a good person doesn’t mean you should stop yourself from gaining what you want. I love Spanish Lesson it’s a truly wonderful humors book that really spoke to my heart during the read.
Thank you Jessica Peterson for letting me meet Rafa!
I truly adore this story!
REMEBER
There is nothing wrong with being selfish, especially when it comes to your own happiness. Spanish Lessons is only 260 pages but I found the entire cast of characters interesting especially Vivian relationship with her best friend Maddie. Can I get an Amen?

About Jessica Peterson

Jessica Peterson began reading romance to escape the decidedly unromantic awkwardness of her teenage years. Having found solace in the likes of Mr. Darcy, Jamie Fraser (OMG love the gingers!), and Edward Cullen, it wasn’t long before she began creating tall, dark and handsome heroes of her own.

She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Mr. Peterson, and her smelly Goldendoodle Martha Bean.
