I know it’s been a long time since I posted anything on here. Who knew having a two-year-old transition to the age of three would take so much time away from me. Even the process of creating artwork is a meticulous task. I wanted to create this particular piece that was inspired by my daughter attempting to put the solar eclipse glasses on, only to poke herself in the eye. Something the scene of Zoe poking herself in the eye with these shiny metallic glasses leads me to create this piece of artwork. I also wanted to try this new water Fine Art metallic water colour palette. I can only say that I am not confident in them but I’m also more than excited to continue working with them until I master it. I wanted this post to just be pictures because there really isn’t much I can tell you about the water colour process since I’m myself am still learning. I also found that using a craft heat gun is amazing for those of you out there that are like me and can’t stand waiting for the water colour paint to dry before adding another layer. Besides my new water colour pallet and my new crafting heat gun, those are the only note worthy mentions I wanted to address. I hope you enjoy the photo process! Until next time!
