It’s all about the Bees Baby! That’s what University of Minnesota Press has created when publishing  If Bees Are Few: A Hive of Poems,  a collection of poems that will be available for all to read May 30 2016. The title of this book is rather cover since its from a poem itself

To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee, One clover, and a bee, And revery.

These poems are all about the Bees, literally, ranging from the nature beauty of the bees and how very importance role they play within our environment. For some having an entire novel about nothing but Bees seems a little to focus on the poetry side of literature, however I believe it to be a nice change.
The poems are well written and they’re many different types to choose from. This novel would be a great gift for a friend who is truly concern about nature. Perhaps a science or english teacher, or a tree garden who loves all the creepy crawly creatures that help our natural environment survive. This novel is a great way to bring awareness to the decreasing Bee population which artist Erykah Badu has been speaking about in multiple recorded interviews. I truly liked these series of poems. They interest and some extremely delightful I can see this book being a great addition to a library, classroom, or office space where multiple eyes can appreciate what it has to say.

You will be surprise how many famous Poets have taken the time to write about our tiny honey creating friend such as, Carol Ann Duff, Shakespeare, Rumi, Neurda hitman and so many more. There are more than 20,000 speaks of bees and their probably only a fraction of poems within the collections of poems you can see that our tiny Bee friends really do pay an important role in our lives as well live in nature. I find it rather heart felt that if anyone can take the time to write poetry about our tiny black and yellow sweet friends that we should play a bigger role in help save the bees. These poems are a great way to get inspired!
