Quick. Fast. Read.

Must Love Ghosts by Ani Gonzalez was given to Lia’s Bookish Obsession through Netgallery for an honest open review.  I’m also happy to say that this novel is already available for your viewing since it was published on February 2016 by FAC Publishing LLC meaning you can purchase as soon as you finish reading this review!

This novel is a quick read about second chances in romances. There isn’t much to say about this novel expect that it’s extremely adorable. It is apart of a series although I am not sure if it’s a continuation or if it’s a stand alone within the same world building scenery.  Must Love Ghost is just to adorable to pass up!
Mike Stone is the typical all American-American blonde tall and of course military strong. I was not in love with him more was I connect with his female love interest Abby. I felt that this novel is very subtle which means it a quick easy read since there is nothing overly dramatic or sexual within the novel. I felt that it was a great read for between my more overwhelming novels.

This novel is a solid 3 stars; the plot was not unique although the delivery, the dialogue in addition to the overall fluent flow of the novel is amazing. There are a few questioning movements or gestures that they characters have that make you rethinking what you read but nothing dramatic. The entire story only having 171 pages it reads like a gentle contemporary romance short story with a happy ending. If you’re in the mood for a gentle romantic story with subtle paranormal elements featured in the novel then by all means please click the links in this blog to quickly get on your way reading!
Even though the rating for this novel is a 3 Stars, this doesn’t mean I won’t be reading the other two novels in this series!
Happy Reading!

About Ani Gonzalez

I write sexy paranormal romantic comedy (whew, that’s a mouthful!) set in Banshee Creek, Virginia, The Most Haunted Town in the USA. My books feature feisty, irrepressible heroines and strong, controlling alpha males along with a host of paranormal critters (ghosts, cryptids, pagan gods…the sky’s the limit). My characters fall in love (with a little supernatural help) and they fall hard. Writing their stories is a lot of fun.

I love quirky towns with spooky stories, and, thanks to my books, I get to “live” in one year-around. In real life I live in a Minneapolis suburb (which is sadly lacking in ghosts) with my husband and three children and I’m still trying to adjust to the cold.
